The 325e clipped only 1sec of the 0-60 time of an 84-85 318i the 325e gained 20hp and although a major increase in tourque was gained redline was lowered and max torque came in at 3250 rpm so although the 318i has the lowest hp rating does not make crap like you say I understand that it can't compete with the 325i(s)unless its modified heavely but they are great little 4 banggers with alot of pottental!They're very buildable,tuner friendly and even better knowing your doing it with two less cylinders!
