So give us some details on how you did it? Did you sand everthing? If so what grid? I have been wanting to do this to my e28 for awhile now!


I started out with 220 and it wasnt doing much.I used 180 and it did the trick.I know it may sound like a lot but it was the only way to really scratch the surface.after painting it it came out smooth, as if i never sanded it.mask everything off,then sand removing all the shine,then paint.the rust-oleum is really good.I still cant believe how perfect the color+finish matched.so far I try to scratch it off with my finger nails,HARD,and it wont come off.so we'll see how long it lasts.
