I have an 89 325 is 5 speed. I used to have an 87 325 but i totalled it driving irresponsively. I could have just continued driving my parent's car, whenever i wanted but i secretely waited until the perfect 89 came up. I had to have an E30. I love the way they drive. No other car i've driven can be so much fun yet so practical. I like the way it responds like an extension of yourself. Most newer cars take a second to respond. The car feels solid yet light at the same time. It is tossable in the twisties. And i love the sound of that inline 6. The car has personality, which is what most of these cars on the road lack. It has potential as a race car/autox car, while being a daily driver at the same time. It is fun to work on and somewhat easy to fix. last but not least, i love the way it looks! in my opinion E30's rule, my mom even offered to help me pay for a 95 M3 because she didn't want me in an old car. I've driven an E36 before and it was faster , but not nearly as fun. call me crazy.
