I have the 0 216 200 153 ECU in my '87 325IS and I was told the xxx 173 ECU was interchangable, better, more reliable and easier to put a chip in. I was wondering how many of you have the xxx 153 ECU, have it chipped and have had good results or did anyone upgrade to the xxx 173 before they chipped their engines?
