Hi,
I have 1 E173-320 325ix 5sp Eurosport (aka Jim Conforti) Shark Chip.
This chip was burned for my 1989 E30 325iX. I think it should work for any 87-91 325i.
Description: Bonneville Motorwerks tuned engine performance chips, developed by Motronic expert Jim Conforti, provide the ultimate in performance. The modified Motronic software, optimized for 91 or higher octane gasoline, adjust the ignition timing and fuel curves which results in increased performance. We have dynoed these chips and compared it to all the others and found it to provide the most HP and usable torque.
Chip specifications are:
Application 87-91 325i
HP Stock/New 167 / 177
Peak HP Gains 15 @ 5000
TRQ Stock/New 164 / 177
Peak TRQ Gains 15 @ 5000
New Rev Limit 6900
* Numbers are corrected to crankshaft hp/trq NOT to stock hp/trq.
E30 325i/is/ic 325/e/es
If your car is an E30 325i/is/ic you will need to know the year, transmission type, and ECU number. The ECU number is found by undoing the plastic panel that makes up the "roof" of your glove box. You only need to undo the two Phillips screws that fasten this panel or "roof" to the dashboard. With the forward part of the panel/"roof" undone you should be able to lower it enough to see the ECU and read the ten digit Bosch part number. A flashlight can be helpful for reading the Bosch part number. The number starts with 0-261-200-XXX.
Thanks.
I am asking $200 obo.
