When i need dealer support (and a lot of times they are the right place to have strange problems resloved), i take my car to Wagner BMW on Riverdale Road (rt5) in West Springfield MA. They have always treated me well, have the work done on time and on budget. They call me if anything is unusual before they go ahead. I have also gotten a loaner car or been dropped off at work in Springfield. They are friendly and honest. I get a healthy parts discount for being a BMW CCA member.
Locally, for routine things (and some not) i use Johnnies Mobli in Vernon, CT. They do not specialize in Bimmers, but are good solid mechanics who get the job done right. They are a AAA recommended facility. If these guys did commercials, i would be on the air for them. They are very very good.
