i was wondering what all is involved in completing the 5 lug conversion on my 87 325is. i know it has to do something with an e30 m3. i am quite mecanicly inclined. i just need to know what parts, how much, and if i have to modify or fabricate anything? thanks everyone. wayne

A much cheaper, but safer than spacers route would be to use the hubs (wheel bearings) from an e36 car in front and the rear hubs from a Z3 or Ti. You will need to get the brakes from an e36.

The hubs 1/3 the cost of e30 M3 hubs and there are tons of wheels out there for this offset, you can even use wheels from an e36 M3.

I plan on doing this swap myself.
