If you are getting an E30, you definately need to get the 5 spd. Try to convince your parents. If I didn't have the 5 spd on mine, I wouldn't want it. To answer your question, if you must get an auto tranny, get the 325i. Actually, with either transmission I would get the 325i but if it has to be the auto, definately the i. Try to convionce them that the 5spd's have a beter resale value (they do) becuase people actually want them. It would be like making an investment to get the stick. If you have to get the auto, I would almost want to tell you to get a honda accord or something, b/c the enjoyment of driving the e30 is almost completely lost with the auto (for me).
