The first few months I owned my car I had been using regular, 87 Octane, gas. But this was causing acceleration problems and the car was idling at 1100 RPM.

I added one bottle of fuel injector cleaner and then switched to plus, 89 Octane gas (I just can't afford premium :( ). Now my car idles at 700-800 RPM and acceleration is great.

Try one bottle at first and if that doesn't help, just switch to premium (highest Octane) gas for a few tankfuls. The detergents in that gas should help remove the gunk of the injectors.

Good luck,

Omer.
