I'm 20 and I've had the 325e auto and have a 325 ic auto, its not bad but you lose a lot of the satisfaction of driving. The automatic clutches are bothersome sometimes. My e21 is a 5 speed and it is the only reason I drive it. My brother just got a 325i stick to replace his 633csi stick so I can't wait to take that baby out. Gotta go with the stick.

Hi everyone, Im 17 and a true bmw fanatic. I am getting ready to buy a car w/ assistance from the parents. Their only stipulation is it must be an Auto tranny. Yes i was heart broken too, but my question is, i know the eta motor has more torque than the 325i, but which of these two do you think would be better with the auto tranny? Ive loved E30s for a while and im not buying the car for drag racing, but a little peppy-ness never hurt anyone! thanks alot
