No I did not install a purge kit but I will in the future-I do not like the idea of having 1000psi in my line all the time after I shut off the bottle!As of this moment I am only using the 40 horse setting and will slowly move up after I see how my car responds to the kit over time-Better safe than sorry-As far as faster goes I reaLLY HAVENT LOOKED DOWN AT MY SPEED BECAUSE i HAVE DONE A NUMBER OF MODS OVER THE WINTER AND THE DIFFRENCE KINDA SCARES ME-i LOOK STRAIGHT AT THE ROAD-i DO KNOW THAT i HAVE A AUTOMATIC AND before I would punch it off the line with no tire spin and about 4 seconds to switch into 2nd-now off the line i get some tire spin and goes to 2nd in about 2 seconds-big diffrence!I have had this car for three years and continue to find it amazing-I love my little six that can beat most american V8's!!!
