welcome, since i have found this board two months ago i can't stop from looking at it at least three times a week. i have gained all sorts of helpfull information on my bimmer. the problem is i own the lesser version of the small 6cyl, "eta" and i still wish to modify it. i also understand it will never be an "i" car but i would like to form some sort of ring of helpfull friends who drive and love their "e" cars. i'm the new to the world of bimmers but since i have bought it i can't stop thinking about how it's by far the best car i have ever owned.... even though i spent way more than it as worth and it broke down two months after i got it,(most of that was my fault). the gass milage is right up there with my camry and hopefully the reliablty will be to... but like the two liter 4cyl of my camry is a mirror image of the 2liter in the celica, it's the eco verson the that keeps aftermarket products to a minimal. on my bimmer i have made the first step with a chip, and currently have plans to swap the rear diff to a 3.25-3.73, exhaust some time this winter.. and so on... i'm looking for frendly people that would like to share their experences with others. if your interested please respond to this post with your year model any mods and future plans and most importand your email address. if you want you can just e mail me and i'll do my best to keep intouch with all who respond.
