you can take the fitting off that houses the oil cooler lines and buy an adapter from the dealer (maybe bavauto has it) that you can then stick the filter onto. I think I've got a fitting on the engine I'm not using (325e)
I bought a 1989 325 engine for my 1980 320is but I just realized that the 325 was equipped with an oil cooler, (is?) that the wrecking yard guy didn't include. I am on a budget and being that I live in a cool climate (Canada), can I plug the holes at the oil filter aluminum peice? Or do i have to bypass it a different way?
Thanks
Mike
