I accidently ordered ventilated front brake rotors for my '84 318i. As I was changing the new and old (solid) the new ones didn't go on as planned.
Any way the brake pad carrier has a slot in it where the rotors go through and the ventilated rotors are wider than the solid ones. My question is, is the only difference in the system is these brake pad carriers? It appears that the calipers will still work. The rotors are the same size and fit on it is they are just too wide to get the carrier on.
If this is the case does any one have a set of these carriers that they no longer need?
