Rough Idle and Stalling When Cold (archive)

I just purchased a beautiful 91 325i two week ago...
5-spd, 131K miles. It idles rough when first
started (cold). If I don't rev it up a few times in
the first minute or two, it will stall when the
clutch is engaged. After it warms up a bit and
when restarting the engine warm, everything is
fine. Any ideas what could be causing the cold
engine problem???
