I found this out too that the convertible has a different location. Our relay is in the rear body panel on the drivers side below the rear speaker. You need to remove the rear seat and back. Then remove the interior panel that covers the rear speaker (the molding along the door edge just peels back. Then you will see a circular cavity with 2 screws above it. You need to loosen the 2 screws but not pull them out. Reach in the circular opening and lift the relay out and unplug. Good luck.

Hello,

I am in big troubles with my 1987 325ic.
When I put the lights on, the fuse number 23 blown : the licence plate lights, the right tail lights and the instrument lights are not working.
I check the light swith and it's ok.
I check the wires but everything look ok too.

But I can't find the "REAR LIGHT CHECK RELAY" as described page 37.15 in the Bentley manual. Where can I find it ?

Thanks for any help

Frederic
