happened to my 85 528e. My problem was that the OBC thought that the car was stolen and the security feature of horn honking was working all too well. A new (out of my parts car) OBC fixed it for me.

325i conv. - horn honks for no apparent reason at no consistent time, just when it feels like it. Sometimes just opening the door will do it. Any probable reasons? Thanks.
