YES...try replacing and/or cleaning the wiper relay located in the fuse box. To make sure this is the problem, remove the wiper relay and clean the points with alcohol and a Q-tip. Plug it back in and if it is better, then it is the relay and replace.


My 84 318i windshield wipers will work one moment, and totally fail the next. There isn't any fading in the motor or anything- any suggestions?
