Additional castor - castor adds additional camber as the wheel is turned. That way you can have more camber through turns where you need it and less on a straight section where you are trying to get as much of both tires down as possible to brake.


So if you have lowering springs, and already have neg camber, then it'll make it worse???

The offset bushings were standard on the M3. They change the camber of the front tires, making them lean in a bit. This improves cornering, but makes the tires wear a bit faster.

A friend of mine is about to buy new control arms for his 325is. He asked me what the advantage of offset bushings would be.... I simply didn't know. Can someone here enlighten me?
