RPM Range on an Automatic (archive)

Well i finally got my 4.10 differential in my 87 325is. What RPM should i be running in my car at 55mph. Keep in mind that i have an automatic, with orginal wheels but the tires are 195/60/14, instead of 195/65/14. Right now i am running about 2350 to 2400 RPM at 55mph. Is this correct. On the highway i am still getting about 29 to 31 miles per gallon.
