I am suprised that your 318 is not already wired for them??? Does your 318 have a switch under the headlight switch? If it does, I am sure that your car is wired for it and that possible someone removed them. Did you look for wires under the front bumper? I though all e30's would have had them.

Anyway, wiring up fogs is super easy and any kit you buy will have good instructions, and a wiring harness already made and you should only needs to wire it up. I know if you buy Hella or Bosch, they will come with good harnesses ready to go.

I am sure the holes are already drilled on the bumper, so installation should be a snap. I would recommend going with a set of Hellas because they are high quality and have the cool stone guards. This is a good project and will help plenty at night.

Do some searching under the bumper for preexisting wires, especially if you have the switch because I am surprised that your car did not come all wired up. Good Luck

How hard would it be to put fog light on my '84 318i?
Are the plugs and everything already there?
