I will be looking for a good used 325ix ('88-'91) in a few months. I thought i have seen pictures of an IX with a convertible top. Is this correct? The only ones i have seen for sale are hardtops with sunroof. Also, are there any inherint problems that an IX would have, that i should look for. I have previously owned an E30 '90 325ic, and am wishing i had not sold it. Thanks.

I have yet to see of hear of an ix convertible. It's most likely possible to modify a factory cabrio into an ix, but I can't see why anyone would want to.
Any reason you want an ix versus let's say an "is"?
