i was thinking of adding a bmpd or bavarian autosport chip to my 325ic cabrio. what would i gain besides the advertised h.p. and torque.my maine concern will be idel will this effect my idel . i have spent a lot of money to get my car running well and i dont want to fuck it up by adding some chip that will only give me a bit more power and torque so if any of you have done this please give me your opinion as how to go abot this

We have Dinan chips in our '87 325is, '88 M6 and '90 325 is. The huge gains in the M 6 were not realized in the 3 'ers, but still wonderful at the red line! Ours were $150. each on sale many years ago. Mike
