85 320i convertable BMW fender trim (archive)

I need information on how to buy a Zender trim for my front drivers side fender on my BMW. I'm having trouble locating one of these in the us because i'm told that this car was made in Germany and there were none in the US and it is very rare. Could someone please help me find this part.
