i went for a drive 10 min and the car started to get hot i pulled over and checked the coolent level and it was low i always keep some coolent in the trunk so i filled it up after waiting for the car to cool down i resarted it and drove away 3min later the car was back in the red mark pulled over again and checked it out no leaks found any where. fan spinning normaly all hoses and belts o.k. i'm thinking its my thermostat i looked in my haynes manual
about how to check the thermostat the upper hose feels hot and full of coolent as well actually all the hoses felt the same way any ideas also no strange noise or leaks found with the water pump how about the cap would this cause the over heating this also looks o.k.

COOLING SYSTEM FLOW CHART:

Check-
1)Thermostat. Replace with BEHR/Thomson or Wahler
unit ideally. Make sure NO AIR bubbles exist
2)Fan Clutch/Belts
3)Auxilliary Fan Resistor
4)Engine Block plugged
5)Congested Radiator. Replace ASAP
