Hello,
I was wondering whether this head unit has a CD controller.
From the tweeters and the amp(booster) in the trunk I am assuming this is a premium sound system.
Is that right?
If this thing has a cd controller what brand you recommend most that is compatible with the stock system that I have of course.
TIA
JohnD

Your radio is the previous-generation Premium
head unit which was replaced by the Pyramid
radio in late 88 & early 89 models. Yours
does not have the socket for the CD data cable,
while the Pyramid does. I have one of each of
these radios, but i could never get my radio to
recognize my CD changer (the cable has a nick in
it so i think that's the problem). I don't
believe there are any aftermarket CD changers
that will work with the Pyramid radio, but since
both are made by Alpine maybe they make something
that will work. Dunno.
