I'm running out of options with my 325ic. The last thing I haven't checked is the temp sensor. Does anyone have experience with these? Do they go bad? If not that then it must be more serious like a faulty head gasket or (gulp!) a cracked head. )o: It just seems to me that if it were the head or the gasket, the temp would continue to rise until it boiled over. Is this correct? All help greatly appreciated.

James

James, the Coolant Temp sender can fail, but usually, the car will not get to efficient operating temp and you'll have poor fuel economy. This is easily tested with a digital multimeter, but I think your problems are elsewhere (unfortunately). Mike
