I will get it check if I were you. If the unit has refrigerant shortage as you indicated, then get an estimate to locate and fix the source of leak. Most leaks can be fixed with few exceptions. The big question, of course, is economics. If the cost to fix is more than conversion cost, then the answer is obvious.
