i have been comtemplating rebuilding my 318is for sometime..and iloved that car when i had it. it is going to be somehwhat of a pain in the ass due to the condition of the car..so i was looking at different cars that i might consider purchasing..namely E30 M3's too hard to find and too expensive- but also the VR6 Gti A3.. i went to test drive the GTI and just didnt find it to be all that exiting.. i think that even though the GTI is faster and handles well it just isnt nearly the car the BNW is and appearance wise there is no comparison.
