I'm replacing an auto out of an 88 325ia.The problem is the compression fitting was seized on the nut...in turn causing me to spin the metal line...I have a partial good line on the replacement tranny plus what was on the old tranny.Does anybody out there have or had a similiar problem...How can I properly tap to together(the one on the car and the one on the replacement)with no leaking. The dealer wants to much for the replacement lines?...I just want to cut the two of them and tie them together in some way that will not result in a leaky tranny...will brass compression fittings work?If I were to flare the ends of each line? Thanks in advance for any help you guys might have?
