D00d A3s sucks balls. v6s are front heavy, the only nice vdubs are the mk2 gti 8valve or a G60 Rallye ;) you want a car that'll spank lots of things out there? get a Merkur XR4TI doesn't handle like a bimmer but its dam cheap (2k for a ncie one) and its a nice ford (sorry for the oxymoron) i like my 318is (that can hand many mk3s their ass) buy an e30 w/ lotsa miles mine has 135k and runs dam good.

i have been comtemplating rebuilding my 318is for sometime..and iloved that car when i had it. it is going to be somehwhat of a pain in the ass due to the condition of the car..so i was looking at different cars that i might consider purchasing..namely E30 M3's too hard to find and too expensive- but also the VR6 Gti A3.. i went to test drive the GTI and just didnt find it to be all that exiting.. i think that even though the GTI is faster and handles well it just isnt nearly the car the BNW (BMW ;) is and appearance wise there is no comparison.
