hey guys,

My coolant light comes on when the car is warm usually.. but i have check the level, and its fine, the pressure is fine, and I unscrewed the screw in the thermostat to check for bubbles and there were none.. and the car never goes past half needle on the temperature gauge. why is the light on the overhead light system still on? any ideas? I changed the thermo, water pump, fan clutch, and fluid about 1000 miles ago. any ideas would be appreciated..

Thanks

Chris - I had a similar problem - it was caused by a faulty sender unit, which screws into the top of the coolant reservoir. The cost was approx. 25.00 to replace. Steverino4 1988 325is
