when you come to a stop and put the car in 1st as soon as the clutch is all the way out and you apply power the transmision jumps out of 1st into neutral any suggestions the car is a 1991 318is

what i would suggest,is that you have a bent shift fork.i had a motorcycle do that in second gear.it turned out to be a bent shift fork.
