valvoline 20-50 best viscosity for temp change

Just checking to to see what motor oil everyone uses because it can be confusing...I personally use
VALVOLINE MAX-LIFE 5W-30 on my 1986 325E...Last oil change,I used VALVOLINE DURABLEND...DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY OTHER OPINIONS ON THE BEST MOTOR OIL?
