I used the Eibach pro-kit lowering springs (1.75" drop) and run 16" X 7" TSW stealth's. Aside from rolling the front fender lips I've had no clearance issues. Many twisty roads!

My car is lowered with H&R Sports springs so the back tire are slightly up inside the fenders. My 15" x 7.5" wheels are 13mm offset. This is about the widest stance you could give an e30. Any lower offset and the tires wouldnt tuck inside the fenders. I think it looks really good and it handles great. I have 205/55/15 Potenza RE730 tires and I really like them. Great dry and wet traction.
