I am buying a BMW soon and wanted to know the differences between the 318 and the 325. It will probably be a '92. Did these cars have many problems and what kind of problems can I expect. I am on a limited budget. Thanks.

I had an 87 eta , looked at a 91 318is and really liked it. But then i test drove an 89 325is, and the handling was not that much worse plus the motor is sweet. nothing like an inline 6, sounds nice and throaty plus the power delivery is buttery smooth. Mine got 25 mpg w/ mixture of city/highway. You can't go wrong with either car, good luck w/ your purchase.
