I have a 1992 325iC (e30). Does anyone know if this engine has a rev limiter that cuts the fuel at redline?

TIA
Alan

Yes, but it cuts spark, not fuel. You can tell when you hit it; the engine starts to stumble, and won't go. Even most chips have them too. BTW, you can run the I motor right up to the limiter. Just don't miss a downshift. The limiter will not save the motor on a downshift. BTDT.
