I do the same on a 87IS, low speed on at all times
and high speed fan connected to the low speed sensor. And no clutch fan
No problems yet ...It never overheat

on my M50 swap. The fan is mounted on the frame of a hollowed out condensor. I keep it on low speed all the time. The car never overheats. Not sure if this would be the same for the M20 motor though.

i was wondering if it is posible to swap out the factor fan on a 87 325is for an electric one. this is to save me the truble of replacing the fan cluch when it need to be done, also i need to replace my fan anyway. all info is wanted thanks all wayne
