Bill,

On my 86 325es all I had to do is connect the two wires that lead into the low speed switch which is in the radiator. I have the high speed one wired to a button on the dash.

BTW... Any meets planned for the summer? The M50 is running good and I'd like to show it off ;)

Evidentally my fan clutch is hosed... And I'd like to do the elect fan thing, at least till I find and replace the clutch unit..

Thanks, Bill-H

I do the same on a 87IS, low speed on at all times
and high speed fan connected to the low speed sensor. And no clutch fan
No problems yet ...It never overheat

on my M50 swap. The fan is mounted on the frame of a hollowed out condensor. I keep it on low speed all the time. The car never overheats. Not sure if this would be the same for the M20 motor though.
