isnt the easiest to lock ur keys in the car, but its far from impossible. its very possible.

1. put trunk in locked position. throw keys in. close trunk. (most likely)
2. put trunk in locked position while door is open, run in the open door and throw in the keys.
3. same as #2 but lock passengers side while drivers door is open.
4. push down button on passengers side, throw in keys, close the door.
5. ...
6. . .. . ..
maybe ur bimmer is just special. but i could definitely lock myself out.

It is almost impossible to get locked out of a BMW. Tell us the real purpose of your question...

I can't lock myself out of my '88 325 (I don't think) The locks won't let me press them down while the doors are open and the car is off. I have to lock it WITH the key from the outside. Who knows.....
