I'm about to drop in this ported, polished, and balanced 2.8 liter with forged crankshaft, forged pistons, oversize valves with 5 angle valve job, 9.9:1 compression, lightened flywheel, 284 / 272 shrick cam, and 535i afm. I figure it would be a good idea to add an oil cool but It doesn't look like there is much room on an 84 325e to mount this oil cooler. Any suggestions?

Brian

Why not put it where the IS puts it. Up front under the condensor. that way you can get the oil cooler, lines, and the oil filter housing from an IS, and make installation so much easier.
