My brother and I did a conversion for his E30 from an auto
to a manual tranny. ( Euro M3 close ratio box )

A rebuilt engine was also installed at the same time.

Its all good, the clutch, tail shaft, pedals and shifter all went in fine and mechanically sound.

The problem is that now it won't start, we have by-passed the check for PARK/NETURAL condition. The coil has power. All the wiring loom looks good. We can hear the fuel pump
going. But no starter, and when we tried to tow and clutch, it was just like the computer was off.

A couple of things.

One of the fuel relays chatters and/or clicks on/off like an indicator relay. Some of the service planel indicators are on. ( Oil level and brake ).

Can anyone give some pointers on how to troubleshoot the system. I need to check all the starting condition signals that give the computer the go ahead to enable start.

Any help, pointers, or past experiences much appreciated.

-Griffon
