I was driving through Napa yesterday and came upon a Porche group out on a drive. They were preparing to drive one of the windy mountain roads near there. I was tempted to join in and crash the party but decided not to.
Anyone interested in a mountain road drive? These are not highspeed roads. They are narrow very windy back roads that go over the mountain between Sonoma and Napa counties. I would consider them "technical" due to the fact that you are always turning. Max gear is 3rd. Any more and you will end up in a revine or someone's yard.

I have no desire to do a "Scare the chickens" run en masse, but I can recommend the drive from Winters to the Napa Valley, via Lake Berryessa. Lots of twisties, but look out for our fellow road-sharers round blind corners - bicyclists who have my complete admiration. I also recommend Bistro Jaunty in Yountville for lunch - the type of place that one might find touring France - by car or bicycle. Drive carefully! Steverino4 (1988 325is)
