I know I am asking for a reach since you can't see the car. I'll do my best to describe the car:

'88 325is
Red with black leather interior
5-speed
5-spoke Prime wheels with new tires; comes with original BBS wheels in need of refinishing but no damage repair (not even curb rash).
150.6K miles with 104K in the last 6 years
All records including original sticker
Original paint in excellent condition (always garaged and covered wherever it was).
Original spare has never seen the ground.
There is a little brush (like kissing the side of the garage) on the rear, driver's side fender lip... but it is really minor.
No body damage, no door dings, and almost no scratches.
Everything works perfectly except the AC.
The leather seats are excellent -- no rips or tears. Even the driver's side bolsters are almost perfect -- no colapsing that I could find.
The computer was just repaired
The dash instruments were just repaired
New brakes
New timing chain
New front steering rack, ball joints, bearings and tie rods
Problems: broken door catch on driver's side, missing part of the glove box latch, and not much else.

Extremely well cared for, spoiled car. I am thinking about having a mechanic check it out. I am pretty sure I can get the car for around $4500. Any comments (please email them since I don't check this forum often... although I am on the 02 list all the time).

Brian

Brian,
With that kind of milage $4500 seems
reasonable, providing compression check
out OK. 104,000 miles seems to be a lot
for 6 years. I would ask owner how often
he change his oil and filter the last 6
years.
