Hi all,
My 86 325,(5 speed trans) has all of a sudden, when stopping for a light, shut itself off.
It started earlier this week with the RPM's fluctuating from about 400 to 1000 rpm.
Then today it has decided to just stall, when I first stop at a light or sign.

If I put the car in neutral, and give it a little gas, prior to stopping, so the RPM comes up to about 1200, and let off, it will idle OK.

What is starting to fail?
