more impact. Use heavy hammer. Never had a problem on my E28,E34 using hammer to wrench.
Guys-
I am trying to remove the fan to replace my dist/rotor on my 86 325e and I can't get that 32mm fan clutch nut loose. I know it is left threaded (loosen clockwise from the car front), but I can't get it to loosen, no matter how hard I hit the 32mm wrench. I am even using a piece of wood against the wrench and hitting it with a hammer - to no avail. Can anyone help me? Is there any way to keep the water pump still while trying to loosen the nut?
TIA-
MATT
