I have a '90 325i that the temp gauge is flickering all over the place. The SI batteries are ok and has been reseted. What could be causing this? Any help will be appreciated.

It is possible that the wire that power
the temperature sending unit is broken
or loose. thats why you are getting
intermitent reading.
