I did it in my '87 325is..it was a horrable job. Later I talked to a guy and he said that he paied $40 to have it done...I don't know if this was each wheel or for both..if eather of those are the case I would pay to have it done, and nobody else has ever worked on my car besides me. You have to have a special puller to get the berring out..it sounds simple and even looks simple but actually gettting the berring out is no picnic. the axles have to come off and the hubs have to come out and the breaks have to come off. email me if you have more questions..if you have access to a bently manual read it.

how do you replace the rear bearings on an 88 325is? do you need special tools to do this? any suggestions? thanks,rob
