The bearing itself is only $40, but you need a bearing press when you install the hub back into the bearing. If you don't have the press, the inner race of the bearing will separate & you are screwed (trying to reset it back together is also hard as hell & plus the bearing is junk by then because you will have nicked the bearings re-intalling it). I just did this last week & it SUCKS... Definitely pay to have it done. I think the dealer gets $200-$250/side. Worth it to me, as I spent 3 hours trying to re-install...
