There are all of the relays in the fuse box, one conrtols the fuel system. Something in the ignition system might be frayed or broken and when the plastic expands from the heat it could be pulling apart a broken contact.

With the ECU located in the car engine temp shouldn't affect the ECU at all. If it is a bad signal then one of the sensors may be affected by what I just described. I'd try checking all of the contacts with a multimeter when hot and cold and make sure all of the sensors are responding. That is, of course, if the ecu doesn't fix it.

Your not talking about the fuses in the box, I replaced all of the fuses in the box a couple of weeks ago. The relays I take it are the big fuse looking things right? I am not sure if this is a related problem or not. Driving down the road I get three "warning" dings every once in awhile. What is that? Plus the RPM and Gauge don't work except when I turn the car off the RPM gauge sort of jumps to 1 or so. The tempurature gauge the other week just stopped working. Related to ECU or no? Thanks.
